Anaphylaxis
Adrenaline 1:1,000 500 mcg IM
CA: PEA
Adrenaline 1:10,000 1mg IV (repeated every 3-5 minutes)
CA: asystole
Adrenaline 1:10,000 1mg IV (repeated every 3-5 minutes)
CA: VF
Shockable rhythm (200J, 300J, 360J)
then 1mg 1:10,000 Adrenaline IV
IV Amiodarone 300 mg
CA: pulseless VTach

Asthma (hydrocortisone)
200 mg IV QDS (if PO pred not avaliable)
Addisonian crisis (hydrocortisone)

Severe IBD Flare (hydrocortisone)

Angioedema (hydrocortisone)

Chlorpenamine (anaphylaxis)
10mg IM / IV
Atropine (post-MI brady)
500 mcg every 3-5 minutes
Aspirin (NSTEMI / STEMI)
300 mg PO
Aspirin (stroke)
IF NOT haemorrhagic and not receiving thrombolysis
300 mg PO
Clopidogrel (stroke)
If aspirin CI
75mg
Clopidogrel (STEMI)
prevents VTE, combination with aspirin
300mg for one dose (18-75 years) then 75 mg
Acute severe hyperkalaemia
30 ml 10% calcium gluconate (cardioprotective)
intravenous injection of soluble insulin (10 units) with 50 mL glucose 50% given over 15 minutes
DKA
1L 0.9% saline in 1 hour
FRII 0.1 unites /kg /hr (within 15 minutes OR actrapid 10 units)
HHS
(Insulin 0.05 units/kg/hour IF ^ ketones)
1L 0.9% saline over 1 hour
Hypoglycaemia (unconscious)
IV 20% glucose 100 ml over 15 minutes
Consider Im glucagon 1mg (in absence of IV access)
Status epilepticus
Community: 5 minutes Diazepam 20 mg PR
Buccal midazolam 10 mg
Hospital: 5 minutes
Lorazepam 4mg IV
Acute asthma
Salbutamol 5mg Neb
Prenisolone 50 mg PO / Hydrocortisone 100 mg IV
Acute Pain (> 8/10)
10 mg PO/SC/IM
