Adenosine
Narrow SVT (6mg/1cc) and then double 1-2 minutes later
Wide monomorphic V tach the same measurements and time
Albuterol
Asthma-2 puffs
Bronchospasm-4-8 puffs every 20 minutes up to 4 hours
Amiodarone
V fib/pulseless v tach-300mg (2cc) then 150 mg (1cc) for second and third dose
Wide stable v tach-150mg (1cc)
Aspirin
Myocardial infarction- 1 tablet chew and swallow (325 mg)
Atropine
Bradycardia-1 mg every 3-5 minutes, 3 max
Dextrose
hypoglycemia-25 mg (50cc)
Benadryl
(diphenhydramine)
bronchospasm-50mg 1cc
Anaphylaxis same measurement
Ephedrine
Hypotension-2.5-5mg (1cc in 10cc syringe)
Epinephrine
Bronchospasm- .3-.5ml
bradycardia- 2-10mcg per min
Anaphylaxis- .3mg (2-3 cc)
Esmolol
hypertension- 20-30mg (2-3 cc)
Hydrocortisone
(solu-cortef)
Adrenal insufficiency- 100mg in 1cc saline
Bronchospasm- 100mg in 1cc saline
Labetalol
hypertension- 20mg (4 cc)
Lidocaine
Intra arterial injection- 5ml
PVC 1-1.5 mg/kg, then .5 to .75mg every 5 minutes and max dose is 3mg/kg
Narcan
Narcotic reversal (fentanyl) .4mg (1cc) every 2-3 minutes
Nitroglycerin
(nitrostat)
Angina/infarction- 1 4mg tablet every 5 minutes up to 3 times
Phenylephrine
hypotension- 10mg with 1cc and 9 cc saline
Romazicon
(Flumazenil)
Versed reversal- .2 mg (2cc) every minute up to 5 times
Versed overdose- .2mg in 2cc, then .3 mg in 3cc every 30 seconds, max dose 5 mg (6 repeats total)
Succinylcholine
Laryngospasm- 10-20 mg (.5-1cc)
