Wing flaps AS REQ’D (40° recommended)

A

Airspeed 70 KIAS FLAPS UP // 65 KIAS FLAPS DOWN
Mixture CUT-OFF
Fuel selector valve OFF
Ignition switch OFF

Landing gear DOWN (Up if terrain rough of soft)
Wing flaps AS REQ’D (40° recommended)
Doors UNLATCH PRIOR TO TOUCH DOWN
Master switch OFF WHEN LANDING IS ASSURED
Touchdown SLIGHTLY TAIL LOW
Brakes APPLY HEAVILY

Fire during start on ground

A

Cranking CONTINUE

TO GET A START WHICH WOULD SUCK THE FLAMES AND ACCUMULATED FUEL THROUGH THE CARBURATOR AND INTO THE ENGINE

IF ENGINE STARTS:
Throttle 1700 RPM FOR A FEW MINUTES
Engine SHUTDOWN AND INSPECT FOR DAMAGE

IF ENGINE FAILS TO START:
Throttle FORWARD
Mixture CUT-OFF
Cranking CONTINUE
Fire extinguisher OBTAIN
Engine SECURE
- Master switch OFF
- Ignition switch OFF
- Fuel selector valve OFF
Fire EXTINGUISH WITH EXTINGUISHER, WOOL BLANKET or DIRT.

Fire damage INSPECT

Engine fire in flight

A

Mixture CUT-OFF
Fuel selector valve OFF
Master switch OFF
Cabin heat and air OFF (Except overhead vents)
Airspeed 100 KIAS

If fire is not extinguished, increase glide speed to find an airspeed which will provide an incombustible mixture

Forced landing EXECUTE
As described in emergency landing without engin power

Electrical fire

A

Master switch OFF
Avionics power switch OFF
All other switches (except ignition) OFF
Vents/cabin air/heat CLOSED
Fire extinguisher ACTIVATE (IF AVAILABLE)

Ventilate de cabin after using extinguisher

If fire appears out and electrical power is necessary for continuance of flight: voir la checklist lol

Cabin fire

A

Master switch OFF
Vents/cabin air/heat CLOSED (to avoid drafts)
Fire extinguisher ACTIVATE (if available)

Warning: ventilate the cabin if necessary

Land the airplane ASAP

Sgtrobe light switch OFF
Pitot heat switch OFF

Note: Perform a sideslip to keep the flames away from the fuel tank and cabin, land asap using flaps only as req’d for final approach and touchdown.
