25
Anti-torque failure? Forward flight
Lower collective. 50-60kt Left lateral cyclic + collective heading. Twistgrip to G/I. Plan to touch down with little or no forward airspeed.
26
Anti-torque failure? Hover
Twist grip to G/I when 12ft or less from ground. Perform hover auto.
27
Anti-torque failure? Stuck pedal
Fly 50-60kt. Shallow approach, run on landing into wind at between 12-30kt. Direction ctrl use throttle and/or collective.
28
One way lock failure?
Reduce airspeed to 100kt or less Limit cyclic movement to only necessary for landing.
29
Cyclic trim failure? Inoperative trim
Fly straight and level. Move switch through all positions to check extent of failure. Reset TRIM circuit breaker. Land as soon as PRACTICAL.
30
Cyclic trim failure? Runaway trim
Fly straight and level. Stabilise cyclic against knee. Move switch through all positions. Land as soon as PRACTICAL.
31
Abnormal vibrations?
Land ASAP.
32
FUEL FILTER light? Yellow
Turn on start pump. Continue flight. # if any unusual engine indications land ASAP.
33
FUEL LEVEL LOW? Yellow
Land ASAP. Avoid uncoordinated turns or sideslips. Keep IAS below 130kt
34
Batter Overtemperature? Red indicator (over 71c)
Turn battery switch to OFF. Land ASAP.
35
Battery Overtemperature? Yellow indicator (60c)
Battery switch OFF. Continue flight.
36
Generator malfunction? Yellow GEN OUT indicator, ammeter read zero.
Check GEN C/B is in. Turn generator switch off then on. If GEN OUT light stays on or comes back on, pull Gen C/B, leave Gen switch on. GEN OUT stays on, reduce electrical load. Land as soon as PRACTICAL.
