A

A slight engine roughness. It can be confirmed by tuning the ignition to either left or right. An obvious drop in power on a signal ignition can be a sign of spark plug fouling

  1. Lean the mixture
  2. Wait
    If the problem does not clear up try a richer mixture
  3. If there is no improvement go to nearest airport it’s the ignition in both

A
  1. Switch from both to left or right on the ignition to confirm what magneto is malfunctioning
  2. Select a different power setting
  3. Enrich the mixture
  4. Check if able to continue on both magnetos is possible
  5. If not switch to the good magneto and go to the nearest airport
