Emilia is wise in men in comparison to Des, she knows they are use to them like food and neglected like waste
I durst, my lord, wager she’s honest, lay down my soul at stake
Emilia has a devotion to Des, the word honest has been ruined by use of Iago
I will be hang’d if some eternal villain, some busy and uninsinuating rogue, some cogging, cozening slave, to get some office, have not devised this slander
Emilia’s description of the villain is dramatically ironic, foreshadows her death
It is their husbands fault if wives do fall
Emilia avoids blame as she has been driven away by Iago, reference to Genesis also references deception/ignorance
It is a great price for a small vice
A comparison of Emilia and Des, naivity and wisdom, love and pain in marriage, there is not devotion in her marriage only service
Let husbands know their wives have sense like them
