A specific subgroup of empathy that involves recognizing and understanding another person’s pain. Empathy is the mental ability that allows one person to understand another person’s mental and emotional state and how to effectively respond to that person.
Entrancement
A feeling of delight at being filled with wonder and enchantment.
Envy
Jealousy is a complex emotion that encompasses feelings ranging from fear of abandonment to rage and humiliation. It strikes people of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations, and is most typically aroused when a person perceives a threat to a valued relationship from a third party. The threat may be real or imagined.
Excitement
A feeling of great enthusiasm, eagerness.
Fear
A powerful emotion that plays an important role in survival. When you face fear, you go through the fight or flight response - muscles tense, your heart rate and respiration increase, your mind is more alert.
It is an emotional response to an immediate threat/anticipated threat.
Horror
An intense feeling of fear, shock, or disgust; induced by a perceived danger or threat.
Interest
The state of wanting to know or learn about someone or something.
Joy
A feeling of great pleasure or happiness.
Nostalgia
A sentimental longing or wistful affection to the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
Romance
A feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love.
Sadness
Transient emotional state characterized by feelings of disappointment, grief, hopelessness, disinterest, and dampened mood.
Satisfaction
The fulfillment of one’s wishes, expectations, or needs, or the pleasure derived from this.
