Part of preferred 1st line medication for adolescents 30kg and above.
Fast onset of action (very potent).

Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor - Abacavir

Answer 3

Causes Hypersensitivity reaction and skin rashes
Go to drug for renal impairment.
Can be used for neonates to adults.

Dosage: 60/30 (Abacavir/Lamivudine) or 120/60 mg
