1
Q

What is endocytosis?

A

Endocytosis is the process of large substances entering the cell by crossing the membrane there are 3 types

Q

How does Endocytosis work?

A

the cell membrane folds around the particle ‘eating’ it and digests it - this is how white blood cells eat bacteria

Q

How does exocytosis work?

A

Vesicles fuse with the cell membrane and expel the contents out of the cell.

Q

How does exocytosis replace the lost phospholipids?

A

during exocytosis, vesicular phospholipids replace the phospholipids which were lost while making vesicles in endocytosis.
