Heat is transferred from one particle of matter to another without the movement of matter

Heat is transferred by the movement of currents within a fluid. This current, called a convection current, moves in a circular motion caused by the rising of heated fluid/air and the sinking of cooler fluid/air

States that all of the particles that make up matter are constantly in motion
