How would you describe the oil level sight indicator used in the engine oil tank?
A glass rod with a visual indicator
The oil level sight indicator is light in colour - what does this signify?
That the oil level in the tank is at least 1 litre low
If you are carrying out a mandatory engine oil level check when is the ideal time to carry it out?
Between 10 minutes and 30 minites of engine shut down (you’re checking the hot oil level)
When the [ENG#OIL LVL] caution illuminates, approximately how much useable oil remains in the tank?
0.37L
Why is there such a large difference between a full tank of oil when the engine is off and the useable oil in the tank when the engine is on?
It is the gulp volume (circulating oil in the engine)
Where are the oil temperature/pressure sensors located within the engine oil system?
One on the Accessory Gearbox (AGB) and one on the Reduction Gearbox (RGB)
