Q

What is the velocity ratio and what is the formula?

A

Velocity ratio is when the effort and load move at the same time, but the effort moves twice as far. The difference between them is called velocity ratio.

velocity ratio= distance effort moves÷distance load moves

Q

What is torque and what is the formula?

A

Torque is the turning force of a lever. You can get more torque with a lever with a longer handle than a short one
Torque=effort×distance
