JOB APPLICATION LETTER
Usually consists of a name and an address, a logo or corporate design,
and contact information
LETTERHEAD
is the greeting at the beginning of a cover letter.
SALUTATION
It has to be the same date that you’ll walk in to apply or the same date as when you’ll email your application documents to your prospective employer.
DATELINE
Includes the name of the person you are writing to, followed by the
person’s home address or by the person’s business title, department(if
applicable), company name, and company address
INSIDE ADDRESS
Conventionally appears before the sender’s signature or name at the end of
a letter.
COMPLIMENTARY CLOSE
is the text surrounding a signature, that gives that
signature context and provides additional information. Signature blocks
often contain the name of the party, the names and titles of the people
(either entities or human beings).
SIGNATURE BLOCK
- All elements of the letter is aligned to the
left margin of the page. - It has a neat and simple appearance. Paragraphs are separated by a double line spa
FULL-BLOCK
is similar to block but has a more informal appearance.

SEMI-BLOCK
differs from block style, the letterhead, Complimentary close, signature and signature block begin at the center point of the page line. The beginning
of each paragraph is indented five spaces, along with the subject line

- is a tool that summarizes your skills, educational background, experiences, and other job qualifications.
CURRICULUM VITAE
also called as resume, but resume is more
specific/tailored type.

OBJECTIVE STATEMENT
-It is a summary of your most pertinent
experience and qualifications that is
customized for the position for which
you are applying. It should be written in
bullet form.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATION
- start with the most recent educational
attainment - include the name and address of the school, year of graduation, degree and
specialization.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Include only Trainings and Seminars that have a bearing on the job position you are applying for.
TRAININGS AND SEMINARS
- Include professional and civic affiliations.
- do not include religious and political organization unless you are applying for a job that requires such affiliation.
- include the name of the organization, your position, and inclusive dates.

- include the name, position, company, and
contact details (preferably the business contact details)
REFERENCES
- Include the name of the award, place it was given, and the date. Choose only relevant awards or high form of recognition.
