When he is 16 he is loved by everyone but he never wants anything to do with anyone
Echo used to act as the “Wing-nymph” (like wing woman) for the other nymphs who wanted to sleep with Jove
She distracted Juno while the nymph would have a chance to run away
Juno figured it out and took away her ability to speak except to echo the last word other people say
Narcissus is wandering the woods and gets separated from his friends and called out
Echo answered back but he rejected her and she like decomposes and only her voice is left

Pentheus sends out his slaves to capture Acoetes, Bacchus’ companion
They capture him and he tells a tale of when he was out sailing and took aboard a young boy who they thought was a god

Pentheus gets mad that the story was a wate of time and orders Acoetes to be chained up
Women worshipping Bacchus rip Pentheus’ body apart

A

Athens was under attack by barbarians but Tereus (of thrace) came and helps lead Athens to victory.
The king of Athens gave his daughter (Procne) to Tereus to marry as a gift.
After a few years of marriage, Procne asks her husband to bring her sister Philomela because she misses her.
Tereus goes to find her sister and rapes her and cuts off her tongue and imprisons her
He goes and tells Procne her sister died on the journey
Philomela weaves a messaage describing what happened to her and gets a servant to deliver the message to Procne
She saves Philomela and sneaks her into the kingdom
They kill Itys (Tereus and Procne’s son) and serve him to Tereus during the feast
They are all turned into birds

Jason wants Aeetes gold fleece but he can only have ti if he performs 3 tasks (put a yoke on a pair of fire-breathing oxen, plant the teeth of the snake slain by Cadmus and slay the dragon that guards the fleece) Medea tells him shes worried about him. She considers running away with him but doesnt She goes to pray to Hecate but runs into Jason on the way who asks for her help. She agrees in exchange for marriage. They get the fleece and go home to find Jason's dad sick She flies around the world on a chariot (the sun chariot) looking for a herb and heals him

She mixes a potion that makes people and things younger again She does this for Aeson (Pelias's brother) Pelias's daughters want her to make the same potion for their father She boils a pot of water but doesn't actually make the potion The daughters dump the old man in and he dies

He tells the story of his wife They were married and his father approved of the marriage But he was raped by Aurora and pissed her off and she curses him before returning to his wife He starts testing his wife's loyalty She hesitates and he assumes she is cheating He accidently kills her while hunting

Nisus' daughter, Nisus rules Alcathous He is attacking her kingdom and she falls in love with Him and betrays her father by taking a purple lock of her fathers hair (that's where he keeps his powers) He is disgusted with her for what she did so he leaves Alcathous She goes after him but her father makes her fall and then they both turn into birds

father and son He is exiled in Crete He makes two sets of wings for him and his son to fly away with He warns his son not to fly too far above or below him His son flies too high and the wings melt and he dies

She gave birth to a son and the boy would only live as long as this one piece of wood was kept from being burnt He was hunting a wild boar with his uncles He kills the boar and his uncles get pissed off so he kills them When she hears this she throws the wood into the fire and he dies She kills herself

an old married couple They were the only ones that welcomed disguised Zeus and Hermes into their home They were generous (despite the fact they were poor) She realizes her guests are gods and they reveal themselves They leave with the gods and watch their town get swept away by a flood Their cottage was turned into a temple and they became guardians of it When they died they are transformed into an intertwining tree

King of Thessaly Chopped down one of Ceres' sacred trees because his men refused Blood poured out o the tree and a nymph told him he'd be punished Ceres got pissed and made him hungry all the time He ate everything and eventually ate himself

They were competing to marry Deinaira Hercules said she would have Jupiter as a father-in-law. Achelous said he was a god and it would be an outrage if Hercule's won They fought and Hercules won Achelous changed into a snake and a bull and Hercules pulled his horn off

Hercules and Deianira (newlyweds) Nessus (centuar) Hercules shoots him and she tries to get revenge by telling Deianira his blood is a love potion Years later she uses it and he dies

mother of Hercules She exchanges stories with her daughter-in-law Iole She says Juno and Lucina, goddess of childbearing, kept her in labor for seven days and nights because Juno was jealous that she was bearing one of Jupiter’s kids Juno has Lucina sit in front of her house with her legs crossed so that she can’t give birth. Galanthis (her servant) tricks Lucina by saying that Alcmena has given birth. Shocked, Lucina uncrosses her legs and stands up, allowing her to give birth.

Daughter of Cinyras She is courted by many suitors but is actually in love with her father She tries to hang herself because she can't be with him but the nurse hears her There's a feast day when married women can't sleep with their husband so the nurse lets her sleep with her father He realizes who it is and tries to kill her so the gods turn her into a tree but a child grows inside her The child grows up to be Adonis' father

Jupiter's grandson and a sea nymph that can shape-shift (respectively) They are maried and had Achilles Jupiter had a crush on her but Proteus foresaw that Thetis would have a son who ends up becoming more powerful than his father Jupiter didn't want to be overpowered so he encouraged his grandson to marry her and he rapes her. She keeps changing shapes so he struggles He ties her up while she's sleeping and surrenders She becomes pregnant with Achilles

both compete for Achilles’s armor Ajax argues that he has been very involved in battle and points out his ancestry and also points out Ulysses left his comrade in battle. Ulysses’s armor is in perfect condition and Achilles’s armor is too heavy for him Ulysses argues that merit should determine it if ancestry did matter he said his was better than Ajax’s argues he is smarter and has battle scars to prove his heroics Ulysses receives the armor from the chieftains Ajax commits suicide and a flower sprouts from the blood

Hecuba is the Queen of Troy and wife of Priam Polyxena is their daughter and Polydorus is their son Achilles' ghost commands the greeks make Polyxena a sacrifice She lets herself be taken so she is not dying as a slave While bringing her daughter to the shore to cleanse her body Hecuba sees her son's body Polydorus gets killed by Polymester because he is carrying gold Hecuba and the other women kill Polymester Hecuba is turned into a hound

Galatae used to be in love with Acis but Polyphemus loved Galatea. Galatae and Acis were together so Polyphemus seranaded her telling her shes beautiful then starts insulting her and threatens to squash Acis. He killed Acis and Galatae turned him into a river god.
