- A THEORY IS A SETBOF TESTED HYPOTHESES THAT GIVE OVERALL EXPLANATION FOR SOME NATURAL PHENOMENON.
- A LAW IS A SUMMARY OF EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION THAT DESCRIBES SOME ASPECT OF THE NATURAL WORLD.

WHAT TYPES OF ERRORS DO WE ENCOUNTER IN SCIENCE?
1.RANDOM AKA INTERMINATE ERROR.
THIS MEANS MEASUREMENT HAS EQUAL PROBABILITY OF BEING HIGH OR LOW.
2.SYSTEMATIC OR DETERMINATE ERROR. THIS OCCURS IN THE SAME DIRECTION EACH TIME. I.E ALWAYS HIGH OR ALWAYS LOW.
NOTE,PRECISION IN QUANTITATIVE WORK OFTEN USED AS INDICATOR OF ACCURACY.
