A

Professional displays esteem for their patients, for other professionals and also for themselves.

Ex.
P: leave room while the patient is undressing, follow patient wishes, and talk in private

O: Watch comments and respect other professional’s work

S: Know your own limits and practice self-care

Client Autonomy and Self-Determination

A

The patient has the right to decide about their Tx and has the right to be given sufficient info to make that decision.

Ex.
-Provide enough information for informed consent
-Ensure the patient is capable of making an informed choice
-Follow the patient’s wishes, and respect massage details
