- They remain one nationist - e.g. Cameron’s hug a hoodie campaign and Boris’ levelling up.
- Also remain new right - e.g. brexit and the Rwanda policy

- Less focus on one nationism and more on populism e.g. Boris and Truss. “No fixed nostrum” - pragmatic with no set ideology

A
- Old Labour elements include - nationalization of energy and trains, raised minimum wage, VAT on private school fees, Mental Health Bill
- New Labour elements - winter fuel allowance cuts, 2 child benefits cap, “tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime”

No longer old labour - less focus on working class, 36% of ABC1 and 33% of C2DE voted labour
all in society are supported rather than just the working class, shift to mixed economy, abandonment of idea of collectivism (no mention in 2019 or 2024 manifesto)
