Q

against - economy

A

some believe to a weak extent that this has changed under starmer
starmer purged the left wing of the party
( his 7 firings of those who signed an SNp ammendemtn to scrap the 2 child benefit ) including Zara Sultana, Rebecca long Bailey and crbyn who runs as an independent
far left is now a minority with little influence
starmer has elevated tensions
most party members accepted a cautious approach eg nationalization
railways EG
he has also called for publicly owned green energy company
tensions are so deep that this is only temporary
he has surpassed not eliminated them
this is because the membership is more left leaning than the parliamentary party
