- culturally appropriate programs mean more indigenous australians are likely to be involved in the program, meaning more people will have improved health outcomes
feedback provided - what does it look like?
participants often provide information of their personal experience (eg through a survey or quote)
feeback provided - how is this effective?
- indicates the level of success in promotion indigenous health outcomes
- if feedback is positive, the organisers know they are on the right track
- if feeback is negative, the organisers know they need to change something to make it more effective
actual improvements in health outcomes- what does it look like?
- data or similar info in relation to the improvements in health
- eg. lower rates of cardiovasular disease/cancers

- this info provides actual evidence into the success of the initative
- if no change has occured, the initiative is not achieving its goal therefore ineffective

- the most significant challanges should be the focus
- the ‘specific’ needs would be those that indigenous people say are their major issues

- allows significant gains in the areas most requiring attention

- targeting whatever the most important/significatn health issues for the group
- eg nutrition/food intake
