  1. If the minimum rating period has not been met. It is nonrated and a new rated assigned.
  2. If minimum is met, the senior rater May act as the rater as well if they have adequate knowledge of the related soldier and has served in the rating chain for 60 or more calandre days.
    * if senior rater does not have adequate knowledge or does not meet the 60 calendar day period, the period will be nonrated.
