These express a well reasoned judgement about something in writing, supported by evidence and logical reasoning.

P-N-S (Positive, negative, suggestion)

How do you point out the positives of a text?
A
Describe the worth/relevance of the topic, conciseness of information, quality of information, language used and mechanics

A
Focus on the text and not the author, maintain objectivity (avoid emotionally laced words), offer critical suggestions/points for improvement
