Q

Where is saphenous nerve located?

A

The Saphenous Nerve runs in front of the Adductor Magnus Tendon toward the medial aspect of the knee and becomes superficial between the Sartorius Muscle and the Tendon of the Gracilis. Saphenous nerve is end of femoral nerve. Once it has innervated the vastus medialis and then goes on past it changes to saphenous nerve.

16
Q

What muscles make up quadriceps and where do they converge?

A

the four muscles (Vastus Lateralis, Medialis, Intermedius, and Rectus Femoris) are collectively known as the Quadriceps Femoris; they converge on the patella and influence movement
