the imitation or depiction of aspects of the iddle eastern and east asian cultures by writers, designers, and artists from the west. It can be considered problematic becuase of the western ignorance of the many themes ideas an values of these culture there cannot be a proper representation of the aformentioned themes ideas nd values of these cultures

the influences above and beyond the maninstream of a single nation state
syncretism
in dance culture it is the amalgamation or attempt amalgamation of different relligions cultures or schools of thought to create a new culture. In the religious sense it would combine rituals used in these religions in order to create a new united religious front however still maintaining some of its original aspects
transcendental dance
any dance or movement globally that welcomes the state of a trnce or transcends your normal state of being. In many cases it is done in a religious setting to connect with a spirit or diety
folklore
the customs traditions and beliefs of culture or subculture. a common agent of these customs are Mexican descendants who pass along these customs through many traditons inclutding story telling music and dance
tropes
different ides that signify a character or culture, common or reocurring characteristics that keep showing up in a certain custom
