what is Psychosexual stage?
a period during which the child focus on obtaining sensual gratification through a particular part of body.
(Freud identified these five stages.)
Fixation
disruption in development when child gets too much or too little gratification during one of the psychosexual stages. (want satisfaction more)

what is fixation also ?
0-18 month , Gratification through the mouth .*smoking, chewing gum

18 months to 3 years, Gratification from the control and elimination of feces. * Rigid “control freak”

what is fixation also ?
3 to 6 year, source gratification is the genitals
* Competitive, macho, flirtatious

Sexual desire are repressed into the unconscious until puberty.
