What does span of control mean?
Is a concept that relates to the number of groups, individuals or tasks that can be successfully supervised by one person.
U are the incident controller of a serious crime. When do u hand over control? When the first forensic member arrive, or ciu, or retain control?
The first FSD employee attending becomes the scene controller.
Who can terminate a pursuit?
Any member

When attending a FV incident who’s safety are we concerned about? Just members, all parties especially kids, the AFM?
The primary responsibility is safety first. This includes the safety of police and persons who are present at the incident, especially children
If all parties make a statement of no complaint after a FV incident does the investigation cease or continue?
Members must investigate with or without consent of the AFM. Statements of no complaint are not grounds for ceasing an investigation.
A s/c receives a complaint of assault after arresting a crook. Who must be notified?
He must inform work unit manager. He must also notify staff officer, legal services department
Emails sent are? Personal records, government records, private records or public records?
Public records.

To conduct a welfare check and risk assessment including:

b) identifying concerns regarding treatment,
c) recording observations of unusual behaviour and action of a complaint is made, deciding how the person is to be secured considering the risk assessment.
A member has used OC on a crook and wants to transfer them in the brawler van. What is your response?
Do not transport in a brawler van as it doesn’t allow for constant observation of the person.

In a safe, conspicuous position with warning lights activated.
