Somnolent
General Appearance: drowsy; sleepy
Emaciated
Gen Appearance: to be extremely thin; result from starvation

Gen Appearance: BMI >30= obese

Skin: small swelling in the skin from insect bite, itch, or burn

Skin: small inflamed elevation of skin that is filled with pus, a pimple

Diaphoresis
Skin: perspiration, especially when copious and medically induced

Skin: yellowing of the skin, mucous membranes or eyes, the yellow coloring comes from billirubin a byproduct of old red blood cells
Pallor
Skin: unhealthy pale appearance
Petechiae
Skin: red or purpule spot on the body, caused by a minor hemorrhage (broken capillary blood vessels)
Pruritus
Skin: itch
Purpura
Skin: any of several hermorrhagic states characterized by patches of purplish discoloration resulting from extravasation of blood into the skin and mucous membranes
Induration
Skin: an increase in fibrous elements in tissue commonly associated with inflammation and marked by loss of elastic and pliability
Ecchymoses
Skin: the escape of blood into the tissues from ruptured blood vessels
Erythema
Skin: abnormal redness of the skin due to capillary congestion
Cyanosis
Skin: a bluish or purple discoloration due to deficient oxygenation of the blood
Spider Hermangioma
Skin: type of telangiectasis( chronic dilation of groups of capillaries causes elevated dark red blotches) that has a red spot and radiates out
Icterus
Eyes: technical term for jaundice– yellow discoloration of the skin, whites of the eye, due to an increase of bile pigments in the blood
Subconjunctival Hemorrhage
Eyes: broken blood vessel in the eye
EOMI
Eyes: extraoccular movements intacts

Eyes: optic disk swelling that is caused by incread intracranial pressrue
