Why is Cyberlaw regulated by legislation?
To protect the society from the misuse of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and to ensure users’ rights and safety. This legal framework provides trust and security to the users by ensuring protection against issues like identity theft, fraud, misuse of personal data and other cybercrimes, which is essential for protecting individuals, businesses, government institutions in the increasingly evolving digital word.
