An example of body awareness in the BA section
> in the first phrase, when coming out of a step ball change we move into a lower level in a lunge, my centre of gravity in the middle of my hips, so going into this shape my hips are square to the front my shoulders in line with them. My right leg is at the fron with my patella directly over my right phalanges. My legs need can’t be too close together as my base of support needs to be quite wide so I’m able to balance easier, which is especially important for the next movement I’m going into. During this movement I need to be aware of my arms and the spacing and timing compared to my legs. My left arm is going up till it’s in line with my left ear. Whilst that arm was moving up, I should I have been rising onto my toes. Now I’m about turn towards stage left in a circular motion for 180 degrees keeping my two axial points. When I start to turn my right arm should start to rise
As well now as my right arm starts to rise my two arms should keep the same spacing as they were in when my left arm was at my ear so as my right arm starts going up my left arm will keep going back. I should finish in a reversal of my original shape . So my left leg is at the front, my hips squared towards to back, my line of gravity running down through my head my neck chest and hips until my base support. With my left patella over the phalanges
