terms of the contract that seek to exclude or limit liability

Parker handed ticket stating ‘see back’ where exclusion clause was found avoiding liability for loss of items over £10, P had lost bag worth more, Court of Appeal determined if P had not read the terms but sufficient notice was given then he would be bound by those terms

in event of ambiguity around meaning of clause, ambiguity will be resolved against party seeking to rely on exemption clauses
