A type of malware that replicates by inserting a copy of its executable code into other applications, operating-system files, data files, or hardware components.
Viruses can spread when the infected file is executed.
How do computer worms differ from viruses?
Worms replicate without direct intervention and spread across networks.
They can infect other computers without requiring user action.
What is a Trojan horse in the context of malware?
A type of malware that provides an attacker with remote access to the infected computer.
