Made-up cities with Cibola just being a rumor that spread, and Quivara being a made-up city to make Spaniards leave the city of Cibola

The first mission in East Texas (ended up collapsing because people died of disease and crops could not grow), the mission ended up strengthening Spain’s claim to Texas and showed that families were needed when settling into the land.
