Why was the Marshall plan described as dollar imperialism

A

Stalin and other Soviet leaders viewed the Marshall Plan as a tool for the United States to undermine communism and expand its own capitalist influence in Europe. They saw it as a deliberate attempt to prevent the spread of communism in Western Europe, and believed the US was using financial aid to gain control over European economies and political systems
