• The density limits means that you can’t blend in to much of HVO into fossil diesel
• 100% HVO in diesel engine does not fulfil the standard criteria regarding the density → requires permit from vehicle manufacturer
• The could properties of HVO needs to be adjusted (otherwise it can clog the filters) → can be solved through isomerization! → the cloud point can be lowered.
• Excellent as a drop in diesel in Swedish standard Mk1 diesel
• Reduced GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions compared to fossil diesel
