Improve non-American’s way of life, Americanize and assimilate others to the US perspective
Religious
Convert to Christianity because all other religions are wrong or evil. Change the next generation’s beliefs
Exploratory
Map a new territory to locate indigenous and natural resources
Monroe Doctrine
Europe needs to stay out of the Western Hemisphere and the US will stay out of Europe.
Big Stick Democracy
Peaceful negotiation but threats of military and force if the US didn’t get their way through diplomacy.
Roosevelt Collary
The US has rights to intervene in Latin American problems when they deem it fit in order to solve problems.
