  • monsoon controls when plants can be planted and harvested. If they’re late or have low rainfall irrigation, yield affected
  • in the wet season thirsty crops( rice) planted in east along Ganges valley and eastern and western ghats. Rainfall, can be over 2500
  • dry season , millet grown
