What did structure of the Provisional Government do to help the Provisional Government fall with its members?

A
It's relation to the Tsar and the old regime meant that it was less liked by the people and wasn't very representative with mostly being middle class and nobility.
The radicals they had like the Kadets and Socialists weren't popular as they didn't want much change to the system so weren't supported much

Q

What did structure of the Provisional Government do to help the Provisional Government fall with the dual power?

A

Order number 1 - This law meant that citizens would listen to the PG unless the Soviets disagreed. Meant that the Soviets shifted the power towards themselves and took away PG credibility, and wasn’t trusted much
-It was waiting for the November election to make a new representative constituent assembly, so was reluctant to pass anything before this, so didn’t do much for the country

Q

What did Lenin do between the revolutions within the Soviet to help in the fall of the Provisional Government?

A

He knew how to talk and how to convince those in the Soviet to his ideas, like what he did in September and October to convince the Central Committee of the Bolsheviks to take down the PG with only 2 rejecting the idea out of 12. He showed commitment in sending messages to the Soviet even when he was out of the country about what was happening

Q

What did Lenin do to hinder the Provisional Government fall with the July Days?

A

However, he wasn’t part of it as he was too weak in his leadership to stop the July Days and his reputation decreased because of the leaked letter, so he wasn’t important because he didn’t use the opportunity to take over the PG
