A

Idea that the housework, childcare and emotional work is the job of the woman and the paid work is more suited to the man.

The man is a breadwinner and the women have more of an instrumental role.

A

Segregated conjugal roles - when couples have separate roles for example what parsons believes with the biological sex role theory. It also involves separate leisure time
Joint conjugal roles - where couples are splitting tasks and housework while also spending leisure time together

A

They claim there to have been an increase in the symmetrical family. They studied families in London and looked at how men and women shared out tasks equally, often both worked and then when they got home they would spend leisure time together.
