Beanpole Family
A long, thin, multigenerational family where people live longer and have fewer children.
Classic extended family
A multigenerational family sharing a household or living close by.

A family with no gendered roles - both parents provide, do housework and look after children equally.
Empty shell marriage
A couple that stays together for convenience rather than love.

-Changing technology (easier to keep in touch increases LAT couples and Modified Extended Families, more advanced household appliances, changing the role of the housewife)
