Explain why a proton follows a helical path in a magnetic field
A
The velocity parallel to the field is constant / results in no unbalanced force and is unaffected by the magnetic field.
The velocity perpendicular to the magnetic field results in circular motion / central force.

A
Magnetic effect where magnetic domains can be made to line up, therefore the material becomes magnetised. Eg iron nickel cobalt
