Protagonist
the methods an author uses to develop a character – appearance, dialogue, actions, thoughts, and other characters’ opinions all help to bring the character to life
Characterization:
he problem in a story – character vs. self, character vs. character, character vs. society, character vs. fate/supernatural, character vs. nature
Conflict:
: the part of the story when the problem is solved
Resolution
having the appearance of truth; the characters, events, and circumstances are believable
Plausibility:
the vantage point from which a story is told; first person (a character in the story tells the story) or third person (story is told by someone outside of the story)
Point of View:
the time and place in which the action of a story occurs
setting
a conversation carried on by the characters in a story
Dialogue:
the sequence of events in a story
plot
the statement about life a story is trying to get across to the reader (advice the story provides the reader)
