Describe the impact of European exploration on Native Americans?
Some Europeans attempted to spread religion, but most Natives Americans were killed by diseases & removed from their land.

Explain the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation? How were they resolved.
There was too much power was in the hands of individual states and there was no president. This was resolved by the creation of the U.S. Constitution which created three co-equal branches of federal government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial). The U.S. Constitution gave more power to the federal government and reduced the power of individual state governments.
Why was the U.S. Constitution an improvement over the Articles of Confederation
It placed a larger amount of power in the hands of the national government, while still protecting states’ rights and the rights of those accused of crimes.
Explain the reasons for Georgia’s capital moving to multiple locations throughout our history?
They wanted to make sure the capital remained in a central location to the population, ensuring easy access to all.
How did inventions such as the railroad and the cotton gin improve the economy of our state?
They opened more land in the west to agriculture, which encouraged westward expansion and boosted Georgia’s economy. They also led to the development of new cities.
Explain the outcome of the Worcester v. Georgia case?
The Supreme Court, led by John Marshall, ruled in favor of the Cherokee Indians, but Andrew Jackson removed them anyways, leading to the Trail of Tears.

Despite some accomplishments, such as the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, Reconstruction failed to solve many of the social problems faced in Georgia
