only time where there are less than 6 players on a team, and it occurs when a player commits a penalty which subjects them to sitting in the penalty box (usually 2 mins)

slashing, hooking, crosschecking, fighting, tripping

3 periods of 20 minutes, over time will be played if the game is tied after regulation
When are goals not counted in floor hockey?
pucks that are kicked in, thrown in or pushed in with the hand, or if an offensive player is inside the crease when the shot is being made
