Electronic CS Transfers rules
- can be transferred, even if never been filled, if communicated between two RPh’s
- ONE TIME transfers, but refills can be honored at new pharmacy
Non-Electronic CS Transfer rules
- ONLY C-III, C-IV, and C-V Rx’s
- must be filled at least once
- one time, UNLESS the two pharmacies share a real-time database (up to max refills)
- transfer must be communicated between two RPh’s (NO techs or interns)
