Ethernet Port

Also called a processor, it’s located inside the computer case on the motherboard. It is sometimes called the brain of the computer, and its job is to carry out commands
CPU – Central Processing Unit
RAM is your system’s short-term memory. Whenever your computer performs calculations, it temporarily stores the data in the RAM until it is needed. RAM is measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB)
RAM – Random Access Memory
The hard drive is where your software, documents, and other files are stored. The hard drive is long-term storage, which means the data is still saved even if you turn the computer off or unplug it
Hard Drive
converts the power from the wall outlet to the type of power needed by the computer
Power Supply Unit
is a global network of billions of computers and other electronic devices
Internet
usually called the Web for short—it is a collection of different websites you can access through the Internet
World Wide Web – (www)
is made up of related text, images, and other resources
Website
Where you can access and view websites using a type of application. Just keep in mind that it is not the Internet; it only displays websites that are stored on the Internet
WebBrowser
is where websites are stored and it works a lot like your computer’s hard drive
Server
is a type of scam where the scammer tries to trick you into revealing your personal information. Usually, it involves an email, instant message, or website that is designed to look like it’s from a legitimate company
Phishing
isillegally sharing copyrighted materials. This can include music, movies, TV shows, and software
Piracy
isbullying that occurs online, often through instant messaging, text messaging, email, and social networks
Cyberbullying
is malicious software that is designed to damage your computer or steal your personal information. It includes viruses, spyware, and other types of software
Malware
is irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients
