What is קנאה?
This is where the husband gets jealous of the wife and warns who not to talk to him
What is נסתרה?
When someone sees her go into seclution with the other person

When she is in seclution long enough to so something forbidden
What is the connection between the מתנת כהונה and the סוטה
People that keep the מתנת כהונה value their possesions way too much so they think that all Hashem gives them is theirs so they lose their best possession, their wife.
what does the word תשטה mean?
It means stupid and when a woman does adultery then a spirit of stupidness overcomes her called a רוח שטות
Why is the word קנאת plural?
Because Hashem AND her husband were jealous

- she will blow up
- she wont receive the punishment but she wont have kids
- She will have kids if she wasn’t impure and if she had not cheated earlier

The theme of Bamidbar is NUMBERS and it was supposed to be about בנ”י preparing for war and going into Israel and instead we are in the desert

When you teach someone’s son Torah then it is like you created them, and your their father. Moshe taught Aharon’s sons Torah and that is why they didn’t list Aharon’s sons.

A married woman suspected of adultry

She performed a despicable act

barly is used for animal fodder and she acted like an animal

the Emahot were called לבנן and she strayed from their path

if you take away the letters of Hashems name from איש and אישה you get two fires (אש) that cant be put out

One who sees her go into seclution takes a vow of נזרות because we assume she did this because she is drunk so we vow to not drink wine so nothing can ruin the relationship with Hashem
