Section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933

No matter relating to any juvenile concerned in the proceedings shall, while under the age of 18, be included in any publication if it is likely to lead members of the public to identify them as concerned in the proceedings.
Can be lifted by the court if in the public’s interest.

No default ban but adult courts can decide to apply a ban on children being identified until they are 18.
