12 min cooper run
- Tests cardiovascular fitness
- use a 200m area mark every 10m
- run as far as possible in 12 min
Harvard step test
- the test focuses on cardiovascular fitness
- Step up on to a standard gym bench once every 2 seconds for 5 minutes (150 steps in total), using a
metronome. - then your pulse is taken 1,2,3 mins after you have finished
One minute sit up test
- this test focuses on muscular endurance
- how many sit ups you can achieve in 1 minute
Sit and reach test
- This test focuses on flexibility
- you have to sit with ur feet flat against a box, then you have to reach with your arms to see how far they can go
Hand grip test
- the test focuses on strength
1. With your strongest hand, squeeze the grips together to measure your strength.
2. Hold the grip for 3 seconds.
3. Get your partner to read the score off the dynamometer.
