Coaching points:
- Must co-ordinate movement with stick
E.g. holding information of body using to create momentum, not trailing behind
Context:
- Minimising air resistance allowing more rapid acceleration

- More successful leading runs to receive ball

Coaching points:
- Important for jab tackles, slap pass and hit.
- Power in stance is just as important as power through the swing/movement
Context:
- The greater the power the faster the ball will move Newton’s second law

- Turns to back up defence quickly
Context:
- Modern tech, Astro, shoes, light weight stick
Overall outcome:
Will be able to dodge players more effectively increasing attacking opportunity

W1 Balance

A

Coaching points:
- Centre of mass must be low to ground to ensure balance in tackles.
Context:
- Maximise stability by lowering COM, increasing points of contact (glove to ground) and widening stance.

- Struggled to push through block tackles, found her stick giving way easily

- Hamstring flexibility is crucial to get low without injury.
- Should begin stretching more frequently and maybe pick up hamstring s&c
Context:
- Struggles to get low for block tackle flexibility will help that
