A
They are caused when heavy rainfall accures and the river burst its banks. It can also accure when a tsunami hits a town.

How can we stop flooding.
A
We can stop flooding by using river bank or building them out of stronger materials and higher walls.

What are flood plains.
A
They are fields that the town allows to flood to try and stop it from getting to the town.

How can cutting down trees make us more susceptible to floods.
A
The leaves on the trees collect the water and it will soak up the water quickly stoping heavy rain reach the river.
