A

NORMAL LAB VALUES

Mg: 1.3 - 2.1 mEq/L (0.65 - 1.05 mmol/L)

Calcium: 9.0 - 10.5 mg/dl (2.25-2.62 mmol/L)

Give causes for Hypermagnesemia.

  1. Renal Failure (kidneys not working, so it builds up in your blood
  2. Antacids
